The TD 202 is a manual turntable that completes Thorens' plug-and-play series. Compared with the smaller TD 201, it has a more massive plinth and comes fitted with an Audio-Technica AT 95E cartridge.
A phono stage is built into the turntable, so it needs no separate phono preamp. The phono stage also includes an analogue/digital converter with a USB output. A record that is played is digitized automatically, and the signal can be recorded on a computer with any of several recording programs that can be downloaded from the web.
The TD 202 connects to a computer over USB for digitizing records. The model is not available in North America. A datasheet and a user manual are offered as downloads.
