The MP-BT1 is a pocket-sized MP3 player for bass players, derived from the CD-BT1mkII trainer. Tracks can be slowed down without changing pitch using Variable Speed Audition, looped seamlessly over difficult passages, and shifted in 1% pitch steps so the player can match the tuning of the bass instead of retuning for each song.
A high-impedance 1/4" bass input lets you play along with playback through built-in bass multi-effects. On MP3 playback, a bass canceller removes the bass part, and a bass range booster and enhancer are available. A tuner and a metronome are also included. Navigation uses a data wheel, dedicated buttons and a 128x64 graphic LCD.
Files are loaded over a USB jack, which also charges the built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery (about 9 hours of reserve). An optional power supply is available. Audio is monitored through a 1/8" headphone output. Auto Power Off and a Hold function are included.
