The TM-6 PRO is a compact trigger module that sits alongside an acoustic kit and plays back sounds from acoustic drum triggers, pads and pedals. It comes with 500 preloaded one-shot samples, which include electronic, processed and acoustic sounds, plus 268 V-Drums instruments. Hi-hat open/closed control is possible through a dedicated hi-hat control jack. Users can import their own WAV samples from an SD card, up to 1,000 in total including the factory set, and layer them or switch between them according to playing strength.
Sounds are shaped with three Sound Modify knobs for volume, pitch and decay, or for transient and multi-effects parameters when the knob group is changed. Each trigger has its own EQ, Transient effect, Compressor and multi-effects (30 types), and there are master compressor and master EQ stages. LEDs show trigger hits and knob values. Backing tracks and click tracks can be played from the SD card in sync, with independent volume for song, click and headphones.
Six trigger inputs take up to 12 triggers or pads with an optional Y-cable. Outputs are a stereo master pair and four direct outputs. A USB Hi-Speed port provides 8-channel audio and MIDI to a computer, and a MIDI OUT connector is also fitted.
