The RSP-30 is the largest model in Reloop's RSP passive speaker range. It is a two-way design built around a 38 cm (15") woofer with a hard suspension and a Kapton voice-coil former, paired with a 1" compression driver on a high-frequency horn. An integrated crossover splits the signal between the two, and the horn has thermal overload protection. The tuning favours heavy bass material such as hip hop, techno, house and breaks.
The cabinet is built for touring use, with road-grade carpet covering, protective metal corners, large metal carrying shells and a robust front grille. It is rated at 300 W RMS with a 600 W maximum, a frequency range of 45 Hz to 20 kHz, a sound pressure level of 98 dB and a 4 ohm impedance. The cabinet measures 460 x 1100 x 470 mm and weighs 38 kg. Unlike most other RSP models, it has no sunk-in metal flange for tripod mounting.
Connection is by professional PA speaker cable or 6.3 mm jack. As a passive speaker it needs an external power amplifier.
