A compact two-way bookshelf loudspeaker with a bass-reflex cabinet, a 1" silk dome tweeter and a 5" fibreglass bass/mid driver. It succeeds the long-running Speaker Box 5 and suits small to medium rooms with amplifiers from 10 to 140 W.

The Speaker Box 5 E is a two-way bookshelf speaker built around a non-resonating MDF cabinet. A 1" silk dome tweeter handles the highs and a 5" fibreglass driver covers bass and midrange. The bass-reflex tuning uses a rear-firing port. It is the successor to the Speaker Box 5, which was produced for more than 15 years.
The stated frequency response is 68 Hz to 20 kHz, with a nominal impedance of 4 ohms and a sensitivity of 86 dB (1 W / 1 m). The recommended amplifier power range is 10 to 140 W. Each speaker is 265 x 160 x 198 mm (H x W x D) and weighs 4.04 kg. The voicing aims for low coloration, good transparency, lively dynamics and fast, tuneful bass.
Connection is through gold-plated banana terminals. Magnetic grills are included. A wall mount is available separately. The cabinet comes in high gloss black, white, red or a wood finish.
