The NW760-N is a camera-mounted flash with TTL, manual and stroboscopic modes. Manual mode offers 81 output levels from 1/256 to full power, and a TCM switch changes quickly between TTL and manual. It also provides high-speed sync up to 1/8000s, flash exposure compensation, bracketing and lock, front and rear curtain sync, and optical S1/S2 slave triggering. Recycling takes 0.1–2.7s, and flash duration runs from 1/300s to 1/20000s.
The head tilts from -7° to 120° and rotates 360° for bounce lighting. Zoom coverage covers 20–200mm, widening to 14mm with the included wide-angle diffusion panel. A reflector is also supplied. An HD LCD screen handles settings, standby and the autofocus assist beam, and has a backlight. Power comes from four AA batteries (not included), good for about 230 full-power flashes.
The built-in 2.4G Q System has four master groups, five slave groups, 32 channels and 99 IDs. The flash can act as master or slave to other Q System flashes at up to 100m (328') without obstacles, and works with the QPro-N TTL Trigger (sold separately). A USB Type-C port is used for firmware updates, and a PC sync jack is fitted. It is not compatible with the Nikon D810.
