DRM315

The DRM315 is an active three-way PA speaker built around a 15-inch woofer, a 6.5-inch midrange and a 1.4-inch titanium-diaphragm compression driver. A 2300W Class-D amplifier with a universal 100-240 VAC power supply and power factor correction drives it, and protection circuitry guards the transducers. FIR-based Advanced Impulse DSP handles crossovers, time alignment and correction of driver and horn anomalies.

Control is through the DRM Control Dashboard, a full-colour display operated with a single knob. It provides Live, Club and Speech voicing modes, an independent Sub option with variable crossover, a 3-band parametric EQ, alignment delay, six user presets, a screensaver with dimmer and contrast control, and a 4-digit passcode lock. Level meters and amplifier temperature are shown on screen.

There are two independent inputs for mic, line and instrument signals, plus a stereo 1/8-inch aux input. Each channel has an XLR direct out, and there is also a mix out. The cabinet is 15mm plywood with internal bracing, a textured coating and a steel grille. It has a rotatable waveguide, a pole-mount for use on a DRM18S subwoofer, and 12 M10 flypoints for horizontal or vertical flying.
