Descripción
The Control 424C/T pairs a 100 mm woofer with a 19 mm soft-dome tweeter on one axis. Its Coplanar RBI (CRBI) horn design gives a 130° conical coverage pattern, which is meant to even out loudness between the spot under the speaker and positions off to the side. The enclosure is built in, so no separate back box is needed in most ceiling plenum spaces.
For installation, the terminal cover has both top and side cable entries and is fixed with captive hand-screws. The dogear clamps are designed to cope with a range of ceiling thicknesses. A full-face magnetic grille, with a safety tether attached to the baffle, is white (RAL9003) and can be painted. A black round grille and a white square grille are optional, along with new-construction and mud-ring brackets and a tile rail.
The speaker can run on a 16-ohm direct input or from the multi-tap transformer on 70 V and 100 V lines. It carries an IP33 rating and is listed for use in air handling spaces under UL2043 and related standards.
