HD30

The HD30 is a stand-alone DAC built around a dual mono 32 bit/192 kHz multilevel sigma-delta converter. It has a built-in volume attenuator, so its fixed-level outputs can be connected straight to a power amplifier or a pair of active loudspeakers without a separate preamplifier.
Digital connectivity covers coaxial, optical, USB, Ethernet, BNC and balanced AES/EBU inputs. The USB input also accepts DSD signals, and the network input supports sources such as Apple AirPlay. The design uses master clocks developed in-house, separate toroidal transformers for the analog and digital sections, and shielding against outside interference, giving a typical noise floor of -150 dB.
Analog output is available on RCA (unbalanced) and XLR (balanced) connectors at 2.6 V RMS. A mini-jack IR input allows control by direct infrared link. The unit is finished in black and silver and has been awarded EISA High-End DAC 2016-2017. It is listed among the maker's discontinued products.
