The F301i is a two-way standmount loudspeaker from the F300i Series. It pairs a 150mm multi-fibre bass/mid driver with a 25mm titanium dome tweeter, and is an update of the earlier F301 with a revised tweeter and an improved crossover intended to give a more refined treble.
The crossover point is 3.2kHz, using a 2nd order low-pass and 3rd order high-pass filter. The cabinet is rear ported, and the stated in-room response runs from 44Hz to 34kHz (-6dB). Sensitivity is 89dB with an 8 ohm nominal impedance, and the recommended amplifier power is 35 to 150 W RMS, so it suits a wide range of stereo amplifiers and AV receivers.
It can be used as a stereo pair on stands or a shelf, or as front and surround speakers in a home theatre setup. Each cabinet measures 300 x 190 x 271mm and weighs 5.3kg. It is offered in Walnut, Black Ash and Light Oak finishes.
