Descripción
The American Professional Classic Telecaster combines a vintage-inspired layout with a contemporary neck. It has a gloss-finished alder body, a satin-finished maple neck with a Modern "C" profile, a 9.5" radius fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets.
The electronics use two Coastline '63 single-coil Telecaster pickups, described as slightly overwound versions of Fender's Pure Vintage designs. Controls are a master volume and master tone with a 3-position toggle switch, and the tone circuit is Fender's Greasebucket system, which is intended to roll off treble without adding unwanted bass or losing definition.
Hardware includes a 3-saddle vintage-style strings-through-body bridge with slotted brass barrel saddles, Staggered ClassicGear tuners, a synthetic bone nut and nickel/chrome finish. It is available in Faded Black, Butterscotch Blonde, Faded Dakota Red, 3-Color Sunburst, Faded Sherwood Green Metallic and Faded Lake Placid Blue, with rosewood or maple fingerboard depending on colour. A Deluxe gig bag is included.
