This Les Paul Standard 50s is a single-cutaway electric guitar modelled on 1950s Les Pauls. The body is mahogany with a maple cap and an AAA flame maple veneer in a gloss Cardinal Red finish, with cream binding on the top and fretboard. The glued-in mahogany neck has a long tenon and a 1959 Rounded Medium C profile.
The bound laurel fretboard has pearloid trapezoid inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets on a 628.65 mm (24.75 in) scale. A Graph Tech nut, Epiphone Vintage Deluxe tuners and a 60s Kalamazoo headstock complete the neck. Two Epiphone Probucker humbuckers (Probucker 1 in the neck position, Probucker 2 in the bridge) are wired with 50s-style wiring and CTS potentiometers. Controls are two volume and two tone knobs with gold Top Hat knobs, and a 3-way toggle selects the pickups.
The guitar has an Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and LockTone stop bar tailpiece, plus a dual-action truss rod. Output is a single 1/4" jack. A premium gig bag is supplied. The maker lists this colour as no longer available.
