Small Stone

The Small Stone is a mono analog phase shifter built around a simple control set. A single rate knob sets how fast the phasing sweep moves, from slow and smooth to rapid. A color switch changes the character of the effect: the down position gives a full, robust phase shift, while the up position raises the feedback for a more pronounced result.

A footswitch toggles between the effect and bypass, and the pedal uses true bypass. The enclosure is a compact die-cast chassis. The circuit is analog and draws about 10mA, so it runs for a reasonable time from the included 9V battery.

Connection is straightforward: one input jack takes the instrument signal and one amp jack sends the output on to an amplifier or the next pedal. An optional 9.6VDC 200mA adapter can be used in place of the battery, but it is not supplied with the pedal.
