Pico Attack Decay

The Pico Attack Decay is a digital pedal in a compact Pico enclosure that reproduces the volume-envelope effects of the Electro-Harmonix Attack Decay reissue. It is used for slow swells, backward-tape-style sounds, artificially short staccato notes and bowed-instrument tones.

Two modes are available, selected with a button whose LED changes colour. In Mono mode (green) a single envelope covers everything played and resets with each new note or chord. In Poly mode (orange) every note gets its own envelope, so several envelopes can run at once. Four knobs control the sound: Attack sets the fade-in time, Decay sets the fade-out time, Sens sets how easily playing triggers the envelope, and Vol sets output level. A hidden Blend control mixes between fully wet and fully dry signal. Turning Attack to minimum disables the attack stage, and turning Decay to maximum disables the decay stage.

The pedal has a mono input and output jack and a footswitch with a status LED, which is off in bypass. It uses buffered bypass and runs from the supplied 9.6VDC power adapter.
