The Operation Overlord is an analog overdrive/distortion pedal covering mild drive through to saturated tones. In Normal mode the signal passes through three JFET gain stages, aimed at a tube-amp-like response. Boost mode, switched silently by its own footswitch, adds a classic pedal-style overdrive circuit ahead of the JFET stages.
Tone shaping comes from active Treble, Mid and Bass controls, a Dry knob that blends the unprocessed signal back in, and separate Gain, Boost and Volume knobs. A three-position input level switch matches the pedal to the output of guitar, bass, keyboards or other instruments.
The pedal has left and right 1/4" input and output jacks and can be used with mono or stereo inputs, with two independent distortion channels for stereo rigs. It uses buffered bypass and runs from the supplied 9.6VDC 200mA adapter. Red and blue LEDs show whether the effect and Boost mode are engaged. Released in 2017, it was discontinued in 2025.
