Neo Clone is a mono analog chorus built around a bucket brigade chip and the circuit of the original Small Clone, with component values adjusted for accuracy and tone. The result is the familiar Small Clone chorus in a smaller enclosure that takes up little room on a pedalboard.
Controls are kept simple: a Rate knob sets the speed of the chorus modulation, and a Depth switch sets how much frequency change is applied to the processed signal. A footswitch toggles between the chorus and true bypass, and a red LED shows when the effect is on.
The pedal has a quarter-inch input jack and a quarter-inch amp (output) jack. It runs from the included 9V battery, drawing 12mA, and an optional 9.6VDC-200mA power adapter can be bought separately.
