PS250
The Varro PS250 is a compact 10-inch bass-reflex powered subwoofer with a 250 W RMS BASH amplifier, DSP and Bluetooth LE app control. It suits music and home theater systems where space is limited and adjustable, controlled bass is wanted.

The PS250 is a powered subwoofer in ELAC's Varro series. It has a 10-inch treated-paper woofer in a bass-reflex cabinet with a black vinyl finish. A BASH amplifier delivers 250 W RMS and 500 W peak into 4 ohms. Anechoic response runs from 27 Hz to 150 Hz, and 24 Hz to 150 Hz in room. Maximum output is 107 dB SPL at 1 m anechoic.
Digital signal processing handles extension, output and control. An iOS and Android app connects over Bluetooth LE for setup, and Auto EQ is listed as a feature to help the sub fit the listening space. The low-pass crossover is adjustable from 40 Hz to 150 Hz. Standby consumption is under 0.5 W.
The sub connects through RCA line-level inputs. A USB port is provided for firmware updates only. The cabinet measures 381 x 360 x 360 mm (H x W x D) and weighs 16.4 kg. A grille, AC power cord and spikes are supplied.
