Kinematic is a fully analog effects unit built around a VCA-based compressor and an envelope filter. The compressor evens out dynamics, while the envelope filter follows the level of the incoming signal to move the filter's tone.
A post-diode overdrive circuit adds drive after the compressor stage, and a level boost provides up to +18 dB of extra gain. A True Tone Maker function is also included for shaping the overall character of the signal.
For modular users, the unit offers three patch points, which allow it to be tied into a modular system alongside other gear. The unit is made by Dreadbox, which lists it as shipping within 2-3 working days.
