LC6000 Prime

The LC6000 Prime is built as an extra deck for two workflows. Paired with an SC6000, SC6000M, SC5000 or SC5000M media player, it takes over the player's secondary layer and offers dedicated library navigation, so tracks can be selected and loaded without a computer. It can also control DJ software on a laptop, with no driver needed.

The main control is a capacitive-touch 8.5-inch jog wheel with an RGB colour ring, adjustable tension and a central colour display that shows track artwork or a custom logo along with play head position. Other controls include a 100 mm pitch fader with LEDs at the top, bottom and centre, eight multi-mode pads for hot cues, loops, loop rolls (straight and triplet) and beat-locked slices, an Auto Loop encoder, and reinforced Play and Cue buttons. The top panel is brushed aluminium over a rigid sub-chassis.

In software use, a Deck Select feature lets one unit control several software decks, and up to four units can be connected for independent control of each deck. It connects to a computer or media player over a USB Type-B port and runs on USB bus power, with a 12 V DC power supply input for cases where bus power is not enough.
