The 703 S3 is a three-way floor-standing loudspeaker from the Bowers & Wilkins 700 Series, sold as a pair. It suits hi-fi and home-theatre listeners who want a vented-box tower with a tweeter mounted on top of the cabinet.

The 703 S3 is a three-way, vented-box tower speaker. A 25 mm decoupled carbon dome tweeter sits in a solid aluminium housing on top of the cabinet, a first for this model. A dedicated 150 mm Continuum cone FST midrange handles the middle of the range, and two 165 mm Aerofoil Profile cones handle the bass.
The midrange driver uses a Biomimetic Suspension and is decoupled from the cabinet, so the bass drivers interfere with it less. The tweeter housing is milled from a single block of aluminium to resist resonance, and the carbon dome raises the tweeter breakup threshold to 47 kHz. The bass cones vary in thickness to add stiffness where it is needed, and a Flowport vents the cabinet.
The speaker has a stated frequency response of 46 Hz to 28 kHz ±3 dB and 90 dB sensitivity, with an 8 Ω nominal impedance. It is designed to work with amplifiers rated 30 W to 200 W into 8 Ω. It comes in Gloss Black, Satin White and Mocha, and works with a stereo amplifier or a receiver.
