Rack-mountable StageConnect output interface that converts 16 channels of StageConnect audio to balanced XLR line outputs. It also provides Ultranet input and output ports and is aimed at feeding amplifiers, monitors, broadcast lines or a second console.

The SC16-O takes 16 channels of audio from a StageConnect bus and presents them as balanced analog XLR line outputs, using ESS DAC conversion. Typical uses are feeding amplifiers, monitor systems, broadcast feeds or another console.
A single StageConnect XLR cable carries audio, control data and 12 VDC / 18 W of remote power, so the output stage can be fed and controlled over one line. The unit can run as a StageConnect Host, supplying word clock and power to the bus, or as a Client that synchronizes to an external clock taken either from the StageConnect bus or from the Ultranet input.
Ultranet input and output ports connect the unit to Ultranet personal monitoring and processing, so audio can pass between the StageConnect and Ultranet systems. The SC16-O also passes MIDI output commands from other Behringer StageConnect products, for example the SC-U USB interface.
