A 16-channel digital ULTRANET distributor that adds 8 RJ-45 outputs to a POWERPLAY P16 personal monitoring system. It suits live and studio setups that need to feed more P16-M personal mixers from an X32 console, P16-I or S16 digital snake.

The P16-D takes 16 channels of digital audio from an ULTRANET source and distributes it to 8 RJ-45 outputs. Each output carries audio and operating power to a P16-M personal mixer, so the mixers need no separate power adapters. Each P16-D can serve up to six P16-Ms, and six distributors can be combined to drive up to 48 mixers.
The input can come from the native ULTRANET output of an X32 digital mixing console, from a P16-I input module, or from an S16 digital snake. Connections use standard Cat 5e cable. ULTRANET carries up to 16 independent channels of 24-bit digital audio and control data over a single CAT5 cable, which keeps the audio immune to radio frequency interference and free of crosstalk.
Status LEDs show the state of the RJ-45 input and each of the 8 outputs. An internal auto-ranging power supply accepts 100 to 240 V~, so the unit can be used on mains supplies around the world.
