L100 Plus

The L100 Plus is the smallest console in the SSL Live range and uses the next generation of Optimal Core Processing. It provides up to 472 inputs and 472 outputs and 128 mix paths at 96 kHz. Paths can be assigned as channels, stem groups, auxes or masters, and set up as anything from mono (one path) to 5.1 (six paths). An output matrix with four sets of 32 inputs and 12 outputs offers high and low pass filters, 4-band EQ, up to 2 seconds of delay and all-pass filters on every output, plus two inserts that work with the internal effects rack or external processors.

Local I/O is built into the control surface: 12 mic/line inputs, 2 front-panel talkback mic/line XLR inputs, 12 line outputs, 2 headphone/monitor outputs and a front-panel 3.5 mm line input. AES/EBU provides 4 input pairs and 4 output pairs with fully variable sample rate conversion. The console shares its Remote I/O, audio conversion, engine technology and software with the rest of the SSL Live range.

For networking there are four pairs of coaxial MADI ports and a separate optical MADI FX loop for devices such as Waves Multirack or a VST host. Optional cards add Blacklight II fibre, X-Light or Dante (32x32 at 96 kHz) connections. Plus Processing Packs, which increase DSP for input channels, stem groups, auxes and masters, are available, and a redundant power supply is optional. Current software is V5.0.
