The SM35 is a wired headset condenser microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern, designed for performers and multi-instrumentalists who need hands-free vocal pickup on loud stages. It terminates in a TA4F (TQG) connector for use with Shure wireless bodypacks.

The SM35 is a lightweight, low-profile headset microphone built around a wireframe headband that stays in place during active performance. A flexible gooseneck lets the user position the capsule close to the mouth, which helps with isolation from other sources on stage.
It uses a condenser capsule with a tight unidirectional cardioid pattern, intended to reduce signal bleed and feedback when working on loud stages or in front of floor monitors. The frequency response is tailored for clear vocal reproduction. Locking snap-fit windscreens are fitted to reduce plosives, breath noise and wind noise.
The microphone is supplied with a TA4F (4-pin mini, TQG) connector that works with any Shure wireless bodypack. A version with a 3-pin XLR connector is also listed as an option. The SM35 is also the headset included with BLX and GLX-D wireless systems. Two windscreens and a headset clip are supplied in the box.
