JS3
The JS3 is a passive three-way microphone splitter that sends one mic signal to three destinations at once, using two transformer-isolated outputs and one direct output. It suits live sound, monitor and recording setups where one source must feed several mixers.

The JS3 takes a single balanced microphone signal on an XLR input and distributes it to three outputs without active electronics. One output is a direct feed, and the other two pass through a Jensen transformer for galvanic isolation, which breaks ground loops and removes the hum and buzz they cause. The transformer is described as offering a very wide bandwidth with very low distortion and phase shift.
Ground lifts on the outputs give further control over noise, and an input pad lets line-level sources be connected as well as microphones. A typical use is feeding a main mixer, stage monitors and a recorder from the same microphone at the same time.
The JS3 can be rack mounted for touring or installation. Up to eight units fit in the Radial J-Rak, and the related J-Rak 4, J-Rak 8, J-Clamp and TrainTrack Plus accessories cover rack, desktop and pedalboard mounting.
