The 3050 is a floorstanding, 2-way reflex loudspeaker and the largest model of the 3000 Series. Each cabinet has two 165mm Aramid Fibre/Paper cone bass drivers and a 25mm '2 in 1' concentric ring dome tweeter, with a crossover frequency of 2.6kHz. Stated frequency response is 44Hz to 22kHz (+/- 3 dB), with 92dB sensitivity and 6 ohm nominal impedance.
A steel outrigger plinth with adjustable floor spikes is meant to keep cabinet movement down. Port bungs are supplied to adjust low-frequency output. The speakers are sold in pairs, and each comes with a magnetic grille. The cabinet is 1000 x 200 x 300 mm, or 1020 x 310 x 317 mm overall with the plinth, and each speaker weighs 17.8kg.
Connection is by speaker cable to an amplifier delivering 25 to 100W. Bi-wire linking plates are included for single-wire setups. The range is offered in five finishes: Lacquered Gloss Black, Lacquered Gloss White, Matte Graphite, American Walnut and Leather effect. A 5-year warranty applies.
