The twenty.26 sits at the top of PMC's twenty series. It is a three-way floorstanding design built around a 6.5 inch (170mm) doped-cone bass driver with a cast alloy chassis, a 50mm dome mid-range and a 27mm PMC/SEAS soft-dome tweeter with ferrofluid cooling. The bass is loaded by PMC's Advanced Transmission Line (ATL), with an effective line length of 3.3m, which is intended to give deeper bass from a smaller cabinet than ported or sealed boxes.
The maker describes the speaker as easy to drive and well balanced, so it can be used with many types of amplifier, and as transparent enough to show changes elsewhere in the signal chain.
