Descripción

The SM 2 is a stereo condenser microphone from Neumann's historical range. It was the company's first stereo microphone and combines two small-diaphragm capsule systems in a single body.

Each of the two systems can be switched independently between three polar patterns: omnidirectional, cardioid and figure-8. Because the patterns are set separately for each system, the microphone can be configured for a range of coincident stereo techniques within one unit.

The product listing offers separate sections for data and diagrams, accessories, downloads and order information, but the text available here does not give technical figures such as sensitivity, frequency range, connectors or power requirements.
