The M17 V2i is a surround preamp-processor that handles multi-channel film and music, with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support. It supplies 11.1 balanced XLR outputs for use with external power amplifiers, and passes 4K UHD video with HDR and HDCP.
Room correction comes from Dirac Live, and the unit ships with a Dirac Live Full Bandwidth licence and a calibration microphone. BluOS is built in, giving access to internet radio, local music libraries and streaming services such as TIDAL, Spotify and Amazon Music, with MQA support and multi-room playback through the BluOS Controller App.
NAD's Modular Design Construction allows key modules to be upgraded as formats change, rather than replacing the whole unit. For system integration there are 12V triggers and RS-232, and a wired RJ45 Ethernet port. Control driver packages are listed for platforms including Control4, Crestron, RTI, Lutron and URC.
