RP-500C II

The RP-500C II is a center channel speaker for home theater and hi-fi setups. A 1" Linear Travel Suspension titanium diaphragm tweeter sits in a vented housing and is loaded by a larger 90° x 90° silicone composite hybrid Tractrix horn, which is intended to carry high frequencies into the listening area efficiently. Two 5.25" Cerametallic woofers handle the lower range, and a Tractrix-geometry port moves air out of the cabinet to reduce port noise.

The cabinet has additional internal bracing to limit resonance and vibration. Finishes are ebony vinyl or walnut vinyl with satin-painted baffles and a scratch-resistant surface. A removable grille attaches magnetically, and cork pads replace rubber bumpers so the speaker sits securely on a stand or table.

Connection is through a redesigned input panel with audiophile-grade wire and easily accessible aluminum binding posts. A spec sheet and product manual are available from the maker for full technical detail.
