The R-101SW is an active subwoofer with a 10" front-firing driver. The woofer uses a spun-copper thermoformed crystalline polymer cone, which keeps the driver light while limiting cone breakup and distortion. A built-in all-digital amplifier powers the driver.
The cabinet is reinforced ¾" MDF with a redesigned internal bracing layout to reduce vibration. It has a scratch-resistant finish, a low-profile grille and a front-mounted LED power indicator. The front-firing design allows flexible placement in a room.
A low-pass crossover and phase control let the user blend the subwoofer with other Klipsch speakers and set the bass level. LINE/LFE inputs allow connection to a home theatre receiver of any make and model. A spec sheet and a product manual are available as downloads.
