The La Scala 70th Anniversary Edition is a special run of the La Scala II, a fully horn-loaded loudspeaker. Only 70 pairs were built to mark the maker's 70th anniversary. The cabinets carry an Australian Walnut wood veneer, which shows through the exposed hardwood folded-horn woofers.
Commemorative details include a plaque signed and numbered by the craftsman, a new nameplate and a new grille. The speakers are designed and assembled in the USA and are delivered with a white-glove service.
The cabinet is compact for a horn design. It can be placed more freely than the Klipschorn series, which needs more floor space and open room corners. No connection types, impedance, sensitivity or other electrical details are given in the product text.
