The Live 460NC is a foldable-free, on-ear wireless headphone built around 40 mm drivers and a fabric-covered headband with soft ear cushions. It combines adaptive noise cancelling with Ambient Aware, which lets outside sound through, and TalkThru, which lowers the music and boosts speech so conversations can happen with the headphones on.
Battery life is rated at up to 50 hours with noise cancelling off and up to 40 hours with it on. A 10-minute quick charge is quoted to give 4 hours of playback, and a full charge from empty takes about 2 hours via USB-C. When the battery runs out, the supplied 1.2 m cable allows wired listening. Playback pauses automatically when the headphones are taken off and resumes when they are put back on.
Connectivity is Bluetooth 5.0 with multi-point pairing for two devices, plus Google Fast Pair on Android. Two microphones handle stereo calls, with VoiceAware to control how much of the user's own voice is fed back. Hey Google (Android only) and Alexa are supported, and the free JBL Headphones app provides EQ, ANC and ambient settings and touch control customisation.
