The PREMIUM PR:O 15 is a passive bass-reflex cabinet in a two-way mid/high design. A 15-inch cone driver covers the low-mid and bass range, and a 1-inch compression driver on a constant-directivity horn handles the highs, with the crossover set at 2 kHz. Compared with the smaller PR:O 12, the larger woofer extends the low end, so the cabinet can work on its own in larger rooms or more demanding jobs without an added subwoofer.
The frequency range is 60 Hz to 19 kHz at -6 dB, with a nominal dispersion of 60° x 40° (horizontal x vertical). Power handling is 400 W RMS, 800 W program and 1200 W peak, with a maximum peak SPL of 128 dB. A dynamic protective circuit guards the high-frequency driver. The MDF enclosure has an acrylic enamel finish in jet black, a steel front grille backed with acoustic foam, and two integrated carrying handles.
Connection is through two NL4 Speakon sockets, one input and one parallel output. The cabinet fits a pole mount with a 3°/7° DuoTilt option and has three M8 rigging points. Filter sheets with limiter settings are available for Lab.gruppen IPX and IPD series amplifiers.
