CS 218
The CS 218 is a passive, bass-reflex subwoofer with two 18-inch neodymium drivers, designed for rental and touring PA systems. It pairs with the CS 118 in size and phase so the two can be combined in sub clusters.

The CS 218 is a direct-radiating dual 18-inch subwoofer in the C SUB series. It uses two Beyma neodymium drivers with 4-inch voice coils in a bass-reflex birch plywood cabinet. It is rated at 3200 W RMS and reaches 27 Hz to 100 Hz at -6 dB, with a 133 dB peak SPL. Its footprint is based on standard pallet and truck dimensions, and it matches the smaller CS 118 in phase and cabinet size.
The cabinet has a PU-coated surface and a steel front grille with an anticorrosive finish, backed by acoustic foam. Eight MultiGrip handles are fitted, and two M20 pole mounts are provided. Accessories include wheel boards, wheels, rigging and pullback frames, a tilt unit and spacer rods.
Connection is through four NL4 Speakon sockets, two at the back and two at the front, all through-connected. A pin assignment switch selects one of two speaker paths, which simplifies cardioid and endfire cabling. DSP presets are available for Lab.gruppen (IPX, IPD, PLM+ and Lake) and Powersoft (X Series and Armonia+) amplifiers.
