Debut Reference DBR63

The DBR63 is a compact two-way bookshelf loudspeaker that builds on the maker's Debut 3.0 platform. It pairs a newly developed 6.5-inch aramid fiber woofer, which uses a single-cone construction with no traditional dust cap, with a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter that has an integrated phase plug. The woofer is meant to keep the diaphragm rigid and control resonances, and the tweeter's waveguide shape is intended to give wide, even dispersion and precise imaging.

The cabinet is a rigid MDF enclosure with softly rounded edges. Finishes include walnut veneer, a champagne-coloured trim ring and a synthetic leather-wrapped top panel. A front-firing dual-flared port handles bass reflex loading, and an optimized crossover network joins the drivers at 2500 Hz.

The speaker is passive and is driven by a separate amplifier rated roughly 20 to 140 W. It is offered in White, Titanium, Walnut, Green and Black variants, and is listed as expected to be available in early November. Matching floorstand (DFR53) and center channel (DCR53) models exist in the same series.
