Descripción

The R1100 is an active two-speaker set with silk dome tweeters, aimed at PC and general desktop audio. Output is rated at 21W RMS per channel, and the cabinets are built from medium-density fibreboard, which helps damp vibration and unwanted resonance. The size is small enough to sit on a desk or a media centre.

Two knobs on the back of the active speaker set the overall volume and the bass level. Inputs cover a PC connection and an auxiliary connection, with RCA and 3.5mm auxiliary options listed. Input sensitivity differs between the two: 700mV ± 50mV for PC and 550mV ± 50mV for Aux.

The power supply switches automatically across a 100-240V mains range. Frequency response runs from 65Hz to 20kHz, with a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 85dB (A).
