NeoBuds Planar puts 12mm modular planar magnetic drivers into a true wireless earbud. Each driver uses a dual-layer magnet array and a micron-scale diaphragm (2 µm base, under 10 µm in total) with second-generation EqualMass wiring, designed to spread driving force evenly and keep distortion low. Frequency response is stated as 20Hz - 40kHz.
Wireless audio runs over Bluetooth 5.4 with support for LHDC 5.0, LDAC and AAC at up to 96kHz/24-bit, plus aptX, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless and Snapdragon Sound. Qualcomm third-generation adaptive noise cancelling is built in. Each earbud has three microphones with voice enhancement for calls, and game mode latency is stated as 0.08 seconds.
Two devices can be connected at once with multipoint, and Google Fast Pair simplifies pairing with Android phones. Wear detection pauses and resumes playback. The EDIFIER ConneX app handles personal EQ, finding lost earbuds, LED colour and other controls. The charging case supports wireless charging with a third-party charger, and the earbuds are rated IP55.
