The H2MIDI Pro combines a 1-in-1-out DIN MIDI interface with a USB host port. Class-compliant USB MIDI devices connect to the USB-A port, which supports up to 8 in and 8 out host ports when expanded with a standard USB hub. The USB-C port presents 2 in and 2 out virtual MIDI ports to a computer or mobile device.
MIDI routing, filtering and mapping are configured in the HxMIDI Tools software, which is available for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. This allows the unit to work as a standalone MIDI router between DIN and USB devices.
The unit can be powered either from a 5V USB supply or from a 9V DC supply.
