MM Jubilee

The Jubilee MM is a moving-magnet cartridge from the MM V2 series. Its body is made of laminated multilayer wood (Panzerholz), and the series is built around a low-resonance housing, reduced moving mass, an optimised HD stylus grind and damping of the pick-up system. The cantilever is aluminium and the stylus has an elliptical diamond cut.

Each cartridge in the range is measured several times across four stages, analysed and hand-selected, which is intended to keep the two stereo channels closely matched. The listed output is about 3.6 mV at 1 kHz and 5 cm/s, with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, 26 dB channel separation and 0.4 dB channel balance. Recommended tracking force is 2.2 g ± 0.3 g.

Electrically it is a standard MM design: 47 kΩ load resistance, 100 pF capacitive load, 0.66 kΩ coil impedance and 400 mH inductance. It is intended to work with common tonearms and needs a phono stage with an MM input. A 2-year manufacturer warranty applies when the warranty card is returned within 14 days of purchase.
