The pedal reproduces the lush, multidimensional chorus associated with classic 1970s Jazz Chorus amplifiers, using an all-analog bucket-brigade (BBD) delay circuit. A single Chorus Intensity control adjusts speed and depth together, and at its maximum setting it adds a slight, still-musical detuning for movement across chord progressions.
The preamp section has a high/low switch that can thicken the tone or push the signal toward overdrive, and a level control adds further crunch and drive. A separate vibrato mode provides its own depth and rate knobs. An internal switch lets the user choose between buffered and true bypass operation.
Outputs can be used in mono or stereo, giving the wide 3D stereo spread the pedal is named for. The enclosure is metal, intended to withstand road use and heavy stomping.
