Cat
Analog duophonic synthesizer in Eurorack format, an homage to the 1975 Cat and the ARP Odyssey. It has two VCOs, a VCF and ADSR/AR envelopes, and is aimed at players who want classic analog tones in a modular-compatible module.

The CAT is a duophonic analog synth based on VCO, VCF and VCA circuits modelled on the original design. Each of its two oscillators has sliders for Sub Octave, Sawtooth, Square, Triangle and Pulse levels. VCO2 has a Sync switch that locks VCO1 to it. Keyboard mode can be set to Mono or Poly. In Poly mode VCO1 plays the highest note and VCO2 the lowest, so two notes sound at once.
The sound is shaped by a low-pass filter section with Cutoff and Q sliders, plus an ADSR and a simpler AR transient generator. The ADSR can repeat automatically or only while a key is held. Other sections include an LFO with delay, a Sample and Hold function with a Noise mode, a Pitch Bend slider (one octave, or two with the Octave Shift switch) and a Glide slider. The panel has 47 controls.
The CAT takes note data from any keyboard controller over MIDI. Inputs accept external control voltages for VCO1, VCO2 and the VCF, and external line-level audio. Gate, ADSR, AR and Keyboard outputs can drive other synths. A Poly Chain function links several units for up to 16 voices.
